LSAV supported a private, charitable event for United Airlines employees in a 72,000 square foot airline hangar at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
LSAV designed, staged, and executed five unique areas of focus within the massive space including: sections for an awards ceremony, dining, gaming, live entertainment, and a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
LSAV designers engineered a center piece for the hangar consisting of a 25 foot diameter, 12.5 feet high circular screen and stage. With LSAV’s Deco Tec tensioned-fabric system. The central stage worked to soften the audio dynamics of the large space. Custom animation graphics and colorful were projected onto the circular screen to grab the audience’s attention.
Additionally, LSAV produced the sound and lighting for the outside red carpet, live band stage, silent auction, award ceremony, car raffle, and photo ops with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Truss, automated lighting, technical support, and large-format monitors were used to support these various functions. Overall, LSAV’s interactive solutions thrilled the hundreds of attendees and proved the event to be a great success.
“I was really blown away by the look you came up with and how you dealt with the various challenges of installing such a complex set.Great job to you and all. (The event) couldn’t have gone any better.”
